Light a Candle
On Thursday, June 30, 2022, Charles Miller, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at the age of 73.
Charlie was born on September 09, 1948, in Muncie, IN to Robert and Ella (Earnest) Miller. He received his associates degree at United Electronics at Louisville in 1968 and held a distinguished career starting at Cincinnati Milacron in 1968 and retired from ABB in 2014. On July 29, 1972, he married Evelyn Mary Wischer. They raised four sons; Cam, Chris, Chad, and Chet.
Charlie had a passion for sports and had a knack for figuring things out. He loved being involved in all the activities his four boys found themselves in. From after work wiffle ball, to high school basketball statistics, to granddaughters dancing and music recitals. He was known for his infectious smile, cleverness, and involvement. Appropriately one of his favorite quotes: "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn".
Charlie was preceded in death by his father Robert and mother Ella. He is survived by his wife Lyn, his brothers Jim Miller and Ricky Ensley, sister Wanda Cisna, Children: Cam and Melissa (Kovaleski) Miller, Chris and Melissa (Healy) Miller, Chad and Cheryl (King) Miller, Chet Miller and fiancée Sonia (Sheppard). Grandchildren; Nick, Ella, and Sophia Miller, Josh Kovaleski, Amber, Brandon,and Brieanna Everhardt, Ayden Engler, and Davis Sheppard.
